Michael and Harry

My name is Michael Lingberg and I’m from California and I just graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Journalism. This site was started so that we could have total control over our content, and because we’re crazy for football, obviously. So I’ll tell you my story of why I’m a Gooner.

Back on July 31, 2011 I went to my first Arsenal game at Emirates Stadium. The club was playing Boca Juniors in the Emirates Cup. I was in awe the entire day, but little did I know how much I’d follow Arsenal. In hindsight, I wish I knew who I was watching so that I would appreciate them more. I saw Robin van Persie score a goal. I was amazed at Aaron Ramsey’s effort for the second goal. I saw Samir Nasri play. I saw Gervinho (back when I thought he was good). It’s too bad I had no idea who those players were then. But it was an amazing memory nonetheless.

Harry and I started this blog because we love the club. I realized that having a presence online is very important and it always helps to get your work published. I also see this as an opportunity to get some editing experience. So with that being said, I hope you enjoy the site as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

Got something to say? Go for it!
